📖 Biography

Abdullah Al-Katib is a Saudi actor and producer who moved his cinematic activities to Egypt, where he produced several films, most notably “Khaltabeeta”. He has participated in many works in both cinema and television and co-produced films such as “Bakhit wa Adeela” with producer Hisham Azab.

Considered one of the leading film distributors in the Arab world.

Known as the youngest Arab film producer, as he was only 18 years old when he produced “Khaltabeeta” starring Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.

He married retired actress 🎭 Mayar El-Beblawy, but their marriage ended with legal disputes in Egyptian courts. He later filed a lawsuit against her demanding one million Egyptian pounds in compensation after serving two months in prison due to what he claimed were false accusations.

He was one of the major contributors to the launch of the Nilesat satellite in the 1990s.

Owns several investment companies in the fields of real estate 🏢 and medical equipment 🏥.

Also a shareholder in Egypt’s Media Production City.
