Ahmed Abdullah was born in Jeddah on November 12, 1991. At the age of 8, he moved with his family to Enfield, in North London, UK.

Began playing football at a young age and joined the Arsenal Academy.
In 2008, he moved to West Ham United's youth team at the age of 16.
Signed his first professional contract with West Ham in the summer of 2011.
In August 2011, he went on loan to Swindon Town until January 2012.
Made his debut on 3 September 2011 against Rotherham United, with a 3–2 win.
In January 2012, he was loaned to Dagenham & Redbridge, and after returning to West Ham, he was released and signed a short-term contract with Dagenham until the end of the season.
