Raised in Riyadh after his family moved there from Hail.
Completed primary education in Saudi Arabia.
Moved to Damascus in 1955 to continue part of his elementary education, then to Cairo for middle school (3 years).
Returned to Riyadh to complete high school from 1962 to 1965.
Joined Saudi Television and later received a scholarship to study Electronic Engineering in Britain until 1970.
Worked at Saudia Airlines, and also as an English-language radio announcer. ποΈ

Vice Chairman of RED Company for 10 years (until 1985).
Director of Saudi Production Group until 1993.
Consultant to the Chairman of Shamil Company (1994–1996).

Mohammed Al-Ali passed away on Thursday, 19 Shawwal 1422 AH, corresponding to January 3, 2002, due to a heart attack during sleep at his home in Riyadh. He was buried at Al-Naseem Cemetery.
