Ibrahim Al-Houshan was born in 1954 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He held a diploma from the Institute of Art Education and worked as a teacher at Al-Rawabi District School.

He participated in numerous successful art exhibitions, collaborated with the Society of Culture and Arts for a considerable time, and was involved with Saudi radio and television.

He was also active in cultural and artistic festivals held across the Kingdom.
