Abdulmohsen Al-Nimr was born in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. In 1978, his brother, director Nasser Al-Mubarak, invited him to watch him perform in a silent play. Impressed by his talent, he took him to perform for the first time on stage at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in a theatrical poetry performance by Ali Al-Mustafa.
